The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington (CFGW)
About
The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington is a local organization helping local families. Life can be challenging when there is barely enough money to cover basic human essentials like housing and proper nutrition. For many families in Guelph and Wellington the reality is that they have 'just barely enough' to look after their basic needs. We also know that for many families in our community, 'just barely enough' seems like a luxury.

Hope House
About
Hope House serves vulnerable people in Guelph – the unhoused and housed, the employed and the unemployed, those suffering a new, bewildering setback and those dealing with chronic, more complicated issues of poverty.

Adopt-A-Family
About
The Adopt-A-Family Program connects families who need support during the holiday season with donors who give the gift of hope and joy by shopping for tangible gifts and grocery-needs cards. Families are referred to the program by social-community agencies in Guelph and Wellington County. Thanks to our incredible community, over 1,550 families were supported this holiday season! While Adopt-A-Family was originally a Christmas holiday program, it is open to families of all backgrounds and traditions to meet their needs and wishes.
Dettmer Tire and the Adams Family have participated in the Adopt-A-Family program for over 5 years and looks forward to participating for many more.
